Farm Camps & Hands-On Classes in the Columbia River Gorge
Reconnect to food, nature, and community on our 40 acre homestead nestled in the deep PNW woods.
Snuggle with goats, kiss a cow, build forts in the woods, play in the creek, and eat fresh from the garden like Grandma used to do.
We teach traditional homesteading skills to kids and adults of all ages, and offer a safe, inviting, and nourishing environment to play and learn.
We invite you to wade on in and stay for awhile in this magical place.
Everyone is welcome here!
Camps at Wade Creek are a perfect mix of farm fun with animals, playing and learning in the woods, art, and exploring the world of healthy, home grown food.

Wade Creek Farm uses Regenerative Agriculture as our guiding principle of making the land and soil healthier as we grow food. In other words, we nurture the soil and we nourish ourselves.
What does regenerative agriculture look like in practice?
At its core, regenerative agriculture means farming in a way that actively builds soil health—not just sustaining the land, but restoring it over time.
At Wade Creek Farm, we do this through rotational grazing. Our animals move through pastures in a way that naturally fertilizes the soil, strengthens grasses, and improves moisture retention. This creates healthier land—and healthier animals living in a clean, well-cared-for environment.
Their manure is then composted and returned to the soil, nourishing our gardens and orchards. The result is vibrant, productive land that supports healthy, delicious vegetables, fruits, and berries.
