What to Expect

An experience of a lifetime awaits on our organic farm just 30 minutes from Portland and moments from fabulous hiking and sightseeing. Luxuriate and relax in our magical cabin in the woods! Listen to a chorus of birds while you cook in the outdoor kitchen. Take a hot shower surrounded by 180 foot trees, and complete your amazing experience by adding on a private farm tour where you will learn about our sustainable farming practices while visiting our goats, sheep, cattle and more!

Our rustic cabin is a dream! With a fabulous queen size bed and incredible views, you could spend the whole day lazing about and feel like you have traveled back in time. Just a few steps away from the cabin our outdoor kitchen comes complete with a propane stove, hot and cold water and a full st of cookware and dishes. After a day of lazing about, take an outdoor shower and spend some time resting in the hammock. Fully secluded from the rest of the farm, the cabin is a 3 minute walk from the main farm house and where you will park your car (you will need to carry your items up to the cabin).

  • Exactly what we were looking for. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, book this cabin. Lara was an amazing host and the farm is so cute. Definitely on the "go back" list. Say hi to the alpacas, romp in the forest, eat some fresh fruit, and stop by the river on a hot day.

  • Super sweet forest retreat, close to Portland. Feels remote but is very accessible. Would be easy to get into town, but not sure why you'd leave :). Loved easy access to the Cape Horn Trailhead. Hot outdoor shower was FABULOUS. Look forward to coming back.

  • What a sweet and serene place - so incredibly thankful to have come across it and gotten a chance to stay for a few nights. A beautiful combination of privacy in the majestic woods, but also the community and story of the farm life. So glad we asked for a farm tour and got to hear Lara’s incredible story and vision. Was also swooning for the outdoor kitchen. We will definitely be back!
